8/7/05 Sunday's MLB Picks EARLY GAMES (2)
We totally smashed our plays on Saturday with them Blue Jays. The
spread ended up getting to about +230 for them Jays. The over came in
easily at around the 5th or 6th.
Anyways, we have won 3 consecutive dogs above 150. Let's see if we can
start winning on the favorites, where we see ourselves down 4 in a
row.
Today's plays.
Cleveland Indians -106 over Detroit Tigers (1.5 Units)
Again, people are going to say that there is no way the Tigers will
get swept at home. In and of itself, we get value here for that
reason. Secondly, Detroit was built to beat Lefties and now they see
themselves struggling offensively up against a righty. As I mentioned
before, morning games are tough on offenses because there is no time
for batting practice before the games. The Tigers could struggle here
and we see the value on these Indians. Another interesting point is
that the Indians 32-25 on the road are better than at home.
Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 RUNLINE +145 over Milwaukee Brewers (1.0 Units)
The Phillies are still in the wild card hunt. The Brewers have little
to play for. On Sunday with the series tied 1-1, don't you think these
Phillies want to win. For sure. The Brewers just are not good on the
road and in a non-division rivalry game may just be content for the
one win in this series. Take the motivated Phillies on the runline
where the value is. I am personally splitting up half on the Money
Line and half on the run line.
Good luck.
