8/30/05 Tuesday MLB Picks
Well, we went 2-0 yesterday thanks to Giambi but our other two games were postponed!
Cincinnati Reds +107 over Houston Astros (1.0 Units)
We wanted to take the Reds yesterday but we actually feel that by that game being postponed yesterday helps their cause today. The will be bringing their momentum with them into this series. A 35-14 system that involves going for road underdogs or small favorites coming into a series off a sweep along with many other criteria. The Reds are one of the hottest hitting teams right now. If they started the season like this, we would be talking about how great they are. Instead, it has already sunk into people's minds that this team sucks and as a result are getting shafted by the spread. Going against Wandy Rodriguez, we feel the Reds should be -120 instead of +107.
The Braves were my other pick. I am passing this time because we see the spread 15 points higher than it opened yesterday. People are wanting to ride Sosa too it seemed.
