Philadelphia Phillies over Pittsburgh Pirates (1.5 Units) We loved the Phillies two games ago when they smothered the Pirates 12-1. We love them again today. Various reasons. The Phillies scored double digit runs and then were shut out. This bodes well for the Phillies offensively. Result: Pending

Oakland Athletics over Toronto Blue Jays (1.5 Units) Fresh off an extra innings win, we expect the Athletics to keep up their offensive numbers and get another win. We expect to see the Blue Jays, demoralized from their loss step down and take a hit. Result: Pending

Texas Rangers +115 over Boston Redsox (1.0 Units) FREE PICK I shocked everybody when I went against Matt Clement versus the Blue Jays. I am going against him again today. Read my analysis for Monday's pick for the Rangers and you will see why I am backing them again. Result: Pending

Houston Astros -105 over San Diego Padres (1.0 Units) FREE PICK It is no doubt that the Astros have a great pitching staff lead by the two-headed monsters of Oswalt and Clemens. The problem with backing them has always been their offense but we feel that is no longer an issue. Their offense has gotten them 4 or more runs in 17 of their past 19 games. And with the Padres struggling offensively and not so good against lefties this season averaging only 3.9 runs per game against them, we like the Astros. Result: Pending
