Saturday's MLB Picks: July 9 (3 picks)
Went 4-4 yesterday, +1.20 Units. Strong winners with our Game of the
Month with the Detroit Tigers (money line and run lines) and a heavy
underdog winner with the Texas Rangers .
Anyways, only 3 picks for Saturday. More picks to come later if found.
New York Mets -105 over Pittsburgh Pirates (1.5 Units)
The Pirates are only 4-9 at home versus lefties. The Mets, coming of a
one run loss will be coming back to play well today where they have
had success versus lefties this season.

Toronto Blue Jays +180 over Texas Rangers (1.5 Units)
I backed the Blue Jays yesterday as +143 home dogs versus Roy
Halladay. Today, I am backing the Blue Jays +180 over Kenny Rogers.
With the media distraction, all-star game distraction, there's a
highly likely probability of a distracted game today by Rogers. A
distracted game will prove costly as the Blue Jays are good against
lefties. Although they are below 500 on the road, they are a
respectable 9-6 versus lefties. The Rangers on the other hand do not
do so well against lefties as they are ONLY 1-7 this season at home
versus lefties. WOW. This spread is conjured up entirely based on the
Kenny Rogers vs. Unknown pitcher Scott Downs. Downs has not pitched
well but against a team that cannot hit lefties, he will pitch well
enough to give his team a chance to win. If Kenny Rogers struggles
like we believe he might, this will be such an easy +180. Pure value
play here. The Blue Jays really should be +135 based on the Rangers
poor 1-7 home record against lefties.
Result: Pending
Baltimore Orioles +108 over Boston Redsox (1.0 Units)
Our analysis says there is still value backing these Orioles a home
dog in a division rivalry game. We expect a decent outing from Bruce
Chen tomorrow, good enough to squeak out a home victory.
