Sunday July 24 MLB Picks
0-1 Yesterday. This makes our weekend record to a dismal 1-6 -7.5
Units so far. These Rangers have been the primary cause of this as we
have gone 0-2 -3.5 units the past two days backing them.
Anyways, our Sunday Plays:
St. Louis Cardinals +112 over Chicago Cubs (3.0 Units) Game of the Year
The Cardinals are 12-2 this season at home off a loss versus right
handed pitching. They are averaging over 6 runs per game in those 14
games. It improves to 5-0 if going against a division rival. Winning
those games by a combined score of 23-5.
Cincinnati Reds +106 over Milwaukee Brewers (2.0 Units)
Using the same reasoning as two games ago when we picked the Reds to
win. (Our only win in our last 7 plays). The Brewers are just horrible
on the road. The Reds are a strong hitting team at home. We like the
odds with the Reds as an underdog.
Chicago Whitesox +105 over Boston Redsox (1.0 Units)
The White Sox got shut out yesterday and lost a close one to the Red
Sox. Don't expect the White Sox batters to get into a slump where we
see them as 24-12 at home +7 units versus righties. They average 5.25
runs in those games. The Red Sox on the other hand just do not get the
same potent offensive production on the road as they do at home.
Minnesota Twins +120 over Detroit Tigers (1.0 Units)
Well. We analyzed the home field advantage versus game number in each
of the series. The home field advantage decreases as each game
progresses. This is game #5 of the series so the home field advantage
we feel is nullified. With that said, we like the value backing the
Twins as big +120 underdogs.
