Colorado Rockies +110 over Philadelphia Phillies (1.50 Units) The Phillies should win this game, they are better in all aspects of the game, and are going up against a B. Kim who is just horrible. That is why we have value picking against them. The Rockies are 2 games above 500 at home while the Phillies are a dismal 19-28 on the road. The Phillies are also at a disadvantage in that they are coming off a road sweep and playing on 0 days rest for another road game. The mile high atmosphere of the Rockies is not exactly going to be welcoming for this struggling team. The Rockies are themselves staying home off a series win with the Mets. This was a series they won, and in a weird way, they did it with pitching in their wins. Well, the Rockies are coming off a loss, in a situation where the Rockies have just been impressive off a home loss at home. 14-5 in that situation this season. An interesting thing I found was that the Rockies were 14-6 at home dating back to the 1999 season coming off a home loss versus a team that are coming into the series off a series loss. Another interesting point to note here is that as an underdog at home, the Rockies are 31-37 dating back to last year as a home dog (14-14, +3.5 units this year). But if you add to it the fact that they are coming off a home loss, they are 20-11 dating back to last year. 11-26 as a dog otherwise.

Take the comfortable and determined Rockies as home underdogs against the struggling, travelling Phillies for 1.50 Units.
