Baseball handicapping concerning National League teams is considerably different from American League teams for a variety of reasons. The American League has better hitting lineups and a designated hitter that screws up pitchers. But with the National League being pretty easy for pitchers, a dominant pitcher may not get rocked without the DH. Therefore the favorites in the National League win at a higher percentage.
