Ben Maller
Ben Maller was first heard on Fox Sports Radio in the Fall of 2000. He was hired on as a weekend morning update anchor. He was promoted to being the weekend morning co-host in the early part of 2001 on Fox Sports Radio. Before Ben Maller was on Fox Sports Radio, he did have a steady career as the host of KXTA-AM 1150 in Los Angeles, California. He had success on the “Ben & Dave Show” there.
Maller has also worked extensively with the Dodgers radio network. He even was the co-host of “Dodger Talk” in 2000. He worked with Ross Porter there on the show. Before he was a part of the Dodgers radio network, Ben Maller hosted the RSC Sports college football game each wek. This was from 1998 to 2000 and the game was nationally syndicated with got him a great deal of exposure in sports broadcasting.
Maller got his start with XTRA-AM 690 in Los Angeles, California where he covered local sports and interviewed athletes after games. His experience in sports reporting really makes him a well rounded sports radio personality. Not only does he work well with live broadcasting, but he also thinks like a reporter, which is the perfect way to dig up interesting information for his shows.
