Chuck Madden
In the summer of 2004, Chuck Madden joined the Fox Sports Radio team. He originally came into the company as a weekend update anchor. Before he started working with Fox Sports Radio, he chalked up over 18 years of experience in the Los Angeles area. He had anchored at various stations in the Los Angeles area. This experience helped Chuck Madden become the calm and collected radio anchor he is today.
The interesting thing about Chuck Madden is that he is not educated in traditional sports broadcasting. He did graduate from an Alabama college, but he did not get his degree in sports broadcasting of any type. Instead he got his degree in Chemistry. However, he quickly learned that sports broadcasting was more of his fate than chemistry. How someone can go from wanting to be chemist to sports radio, is beyond most people. But, the truth is that Chuck Madden is likely having a lot more fun in the career with Fox than he would have ever had as a chemist.
He is still part of the weekend crew for Fox Sports radio and can be heard from 8am to 2pm every weekend. His show is a mix of sport updates, sporting news, and general conversation. You will find his show to be entertaining and informative, which is why he is such an important part of the Fox Sports Radio team. If you are interested in listening to a sports radio anchor that knows their stuff and doesn’t disappoint, Chuck Madden is the guy for you.
