He currently hosts a weekday show called The Jim Rome Show. However, in addition to The Jim Rome Show, he also hosts Jim Rome Is Burning.

Jim Rome Is Burning is a little different. It is done on television for one thing, which makes the whole thing completely different from the experience you would get on sports radio. In addition, it is a one hour shows that comes on weekly and is taped live.

Jim Rome Is Burning is considered a sports conversation show. But with Rowe’s strong opinions leading the “conversation” it might as well be called a “Rome opinion” show instead. You can find is around 4:30pm EST on ESPN. It usually follows NFL Live or another sporting show.

The show has always done quite well on ESPN. It first debuted in Spring of 2003, and was only on once a week during primetime. Although it did well, it was taken off the air for a short time in 2004 and was re-vamped a bit. It has been moved around to several different time slots and days, but can now be found every afternoon.
