Joe McDonnell
One of the biggest personalities in sports broadcasting is Joe McDonnell. Currently heard at AM 570, Joe McDonnell is a veteran of the sports broadcasting business. He has been in the business since 1975, where he began in the San Fernando Valley. He started his career as a news reporter and quickly moved up the ranks to an assistant sports director position. In 1982, Joe McDonnell got a great gig as the Los Angeles Correspondent for Mutual Radio Network, which is now Westwood One. In fact, he also became the Los Angeles Correspondent for the United Press International Radio Network and the Associated Radio Network as well.

After that stint, he came back to radio in Los Angeles, California and has done sports radio since then. He is also a well known general talk radio host, so he holds a high standard in the eyes of his peers and business associates.
