Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton
Lee “Hacksaw” Hamilton has a big reputation in sports radio. He currently can be heard on AM 570 and has an enormous pool of regular show listeners. Everyday at 7:20am you can hear him on One Man’s Opinion, at 12:40pm with Loose Cannons, and from 4pm to 6pm with Good Times. If it seems as if “Hacksaw” never goes home, you are likely right!
Lee Hamilton has been a sports broadcaster for over 19 years now however and probably couldn’t imagine ever doing anything else. He is without a doubt, the longest working sportstalk host in California radio heritage. He has won many awards including the “Talk Show Host of the Year” by the Southern California Sports group.
In addition to hosting these numerous shows, Lee “Hacksaw” Hamilton has also been the announcer for the San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, the USC Trojans, and the San Diego State football team.
He is the king of play-by-play work. He has even done work for NFL films, ABC Monday Night Football and CBS. He is such a well respected person that his work is shown in the NFL Hall of Fame.
With a family history rich in sports broadcasting, it was not usual that Lee Hamilton would choose sports broadcasting for a career. His father was a pitcher and his uncle was a great and famous sports writer.

Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton came to AM 570 after spending time at KTAR in Phoenix, where he built his legend as a sports talk show host and called Arizona State football and minor league baseball. Lee also spent 7-years at 3WE Radio in Cleveland, where he was voice of the WHA-Cleveland Crusaders hockey team and hosted sports talk.
Lee is originally from Long Island and has a degree in Broadcasting and Journalism from Ohio University. He loves to read sports books, and is big into history and the History Channel.
