Baltimore Orioles (-115) over Tampa Bay Devil Rays (1.0 Units) - This is still a bit early in the season but it's apparent that there's a lot of parity in the American League right now. The two outliers seem to be the Blue Jays and the Rangers and we bring this point up to highlight the importance the home field advantage has. These Orioles are 10-4 at home! Now the Devil Rays have played 26 games, only 9 of them on the road so they are due for a bit of a struggle in this series against the Orioles.

Oakland Athletics (130) over Los Angeles Angels (1.0 Units) -

These Athletics fall into a system of ours that involves betting on a team that gets shut out if it plays with revenge provided that they scored double digit runs in the game prior. So basically they get double digits, then get shut out, then tend to bounce right back... at least with respect to the moneyline odds. This pick would ordinarily based on the value we see the Athletics having be a game of the week (1.5 unit) quality but this is Earvin Santana's bread and butter to be pitching at home. He is 26-9 for his career at home while only 13-21 on the road. His ERA is almost 4 points better at home than on the road.
