The Tigers were swept by the Yankees but pulled off a win in game 1 in their series against the Mariners. It was a critical game for them to get back on track... and we correctly predicted that win as a premium play.
Having lost game 2, we think their determination would be renewed again today.
Just remember, critical to our choosing them in game 1 was the fact that they are 18-11, +8 units against lefties and they are facing a lefty today.
So in an effort to win the series at home against a non-divisional rival facing a lefty, just seems like too easy of a play to make.
