Detroit and Pittsburgh are fighting for a championship... but in the NHL game 7 .

By betting on the Pirates, we are taking an incredible chance. Ian Snell is 1-6 this season with an ERA over five and a half.

But we feel that the Pirates will have a strong effort today.

The families, the fans, everybody will have NHL on their minds and be a little bit out of it today. At least we think so. With that said, we'll take the home dogs in this "meaningless" Interleague game.

Interleague home teams are the strongest and the spread here is incredibly high because of that fact. The Nationals are only 6-20 on the road and if you were to have bet against them every game with a -226 favorite, you'd still be making money. For that reason, we are not so scared about betting against them with this spread.

The Devil Rays are also coming into this game scoring loads of runs while the Nationals are struggling. We'll take this game knowing that the Nationals have a very small chance of winning and the spread couldn't have been padded any more with the Devil Rays.
