We are betting against Zambrano and it may not be the smartest of decisions because the Cubs are 7-3 when he starts... BUT in his last 4 starts, the Cubs are averaging just 2 runs a game.
And that is similar to the position the Cubs are in right now. They are averaging just 1.8 runs a game L5 and 3.0 runs a game L10. And they hit lefties even worse than they hit righties by about 0.7 runs a game. With southpaw Danks on the mound for the White Sox, the Cubs crappy offense would seem to get even worse.
Either way, the Cubs are way overvalued with the odds they have right now.
Take the White Sox action on Danks pitching. A weak Cubs offense will make our +146 look like great value.
